Congrats to Mary F., level 3 winner at this year’s “Raleigh Area Flute Association” Flute Contest and Review!
She performed the winning piece and was joined by her pianist and brother, Ward F. on Friday, November 10th.
Continue to shine Mary! I am so glad to personally be working with you on the flute, it’s a privilege and blessing that you’re my student! Now don’t let that keep you from practicing any less!

We’re turning around a new bend at Artstage and I’m so excited to see my dream grow! Hopefully we’ll never look back, and enjoy the ride!

In case you’re in Raleightown and are looking to go out to lunch, stop in for some jazz and to hear me play @ Yancy’s Jazz Cafe!
The Restaurant’s not open until November, but I’m practicing my jazz chops like there’s no tomorrow. What a different venue.
I’m thinking about doing a big masterclass on the ALL County pieces. Any interest?

Hey all, This flute teacher is blogging for the first time EVER!
It didn’t take long to figure out. For heaven’s sake, I made the website myself. One thing I am looking to design or have someone design (hint, hint to students), is a LOGO.
Anywho, what’s happenin’ today in the studio is that I have just posted links on Citysearch and Decidio for Artstage, Inc. I’d love for ya’ll to post a review! Don’t click on the Citysearch one too much for a link to the website b/c I’m cheap and I have to pay everytime it gets clicked on.
I also just typed up a poster of RAFA happenings and All-County.
Have fun and Blog me!
