PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
. Panos began piano lessons in Cyprus
at the Greek Academy of Music at an
early age, then studied at the Vienna
Conservatory for four years and
subsequently graduated from the
Manhattan School of Music (B.M. in
piano performance), Columbia
University (M.A. in music education) and
the Aaron Copland School of Music,
City University of New York (M.A. in
orchestral conducting).
. He has studied under the guidance and
supervision of prominent teachers such
as Gertraud Kubacsek, Marc Silverman,
Vera Wills, Anthony Newman and
Maurice Peress.
. Since then he has directed and
conducted the Aaron Copland Chamber
Orchestra in the USA and Europe and
other renowned orchestras and choirs
and has given solo piano concerts. He
dedicates a substantial part of his time
teaching young students music and
piano.
